Owner Mark brings 25 years of experience in excavation, earthwork, and concrete across residential and commercial projects.
His work has taken him from Portland, Oregon, to the challenging conditions of Kodiak Island, Alaska. Examples of Mark’s work can still be found throughout Kodiak, including concrete construction at one of the island’s primary arrival docks.
This range of experience has given Mark a practical understanding of how terrain, soil, drainage, access, materials, and equipment affect the outcome of a project. He looks beyond the immediate task, anticipates potential problems, and develops solutions that work for the property as a whole.
Today, Mark personally meets with clients, evaluates each site, develops the scope of work, and oversees every Red Rocks Excavation project through completion. When a project requires additional equipment or manpower, he coordinates the appropriate resources based on the size and requirements of the job.
